Notice to Guitar Customers

After much consideration, we have decided not to offer guitars through our online store. We believe that each guitar has its own voice -- no two are alike.

This is true of all instruments, actually, but violins and cellos don't start to develop their voice until played for at least a year. The limited models we now offer of those instruments, as well as basses and violas, have shown us a good amount of consistency in tone at the start.

We also take pride in our personal service and set-ups of even our inexpensive guitars, and we can't give the kind of service we like if you live on the other side of the world.

We would like to encourage guitar customers to visit their local music stores and find the particular instrument that "speaks" to them. You won't be sorry!

For those guitarists who live in our neighborhood, we look forward to serving you. We offer a range of guitars in the lower and moderate prices ($75-$2,000). We carry Kay, Johnson, Oscar Schmidt, Blueridge and others from Saga, Garrison, Rainsong, Vineyard, and other fine brands. We also have some Canadian guitars that the company has requested we not mention online.

We will continue to offer banjos and other instruments online, as well as guitar kits and some electrics. And, we may have some specials to offer online from time to time.
